Mrs. Laura Inez Whitecotton, 61, died at 9:37 p.m. Sunday at her home in Yountsville. She was born Jan. 19, 1903 at Sherrard, Ill., daughter of W. D. and Mary Love Thompson. She married Walter Lee Whitecotton Oct. 8, 1921. Mrs. Whitecotton was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Lee and Robert, both of Crawfordsville, and William of Richmond; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Meadows and Mrs. Betty Myers, both of Waveland; a brother, Rodney Thompson of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Edna Brown of Crawfordsville; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Arrangements are pending.
